LOL! I'm not too sure you could Afford me Cort, I have been talkign around to some of the techs in my area and have come to the conclusion, that I'm paid quite well, actually way above average.
My son is not the Typical Teenager. He likes to go to school and work on his car, He gets straigth A's in other classes and he really is a decent kid. Desn't talk much unless he really knows you, then you can't shut him up! I have no idea where I went wrong with him, LOL!

LOL! Yeah, as I recall, he didn't talk much when we met at the MC Nationals this past June. Glad he is a decent kid, many teenagers don't seem to be these days . Way above average, eh? That might put you out of my price range . I was there RJ, I saw you by your car, Then I saw Cort and had to hunt him down [took 3 tries!]. I was headed back to your car, But you had disappeared. I was hanging around that corner most of the day with the guys from NYMCC. I did a day trip like I did for Cinci the year before. I got there just after 11 and then I left around 4 just when the storm started to move in and everyone was running for their cars. This years show was awesome! a lt better than the Cinci show.

Sorry I missed ya. I wasn't feeling the best that weekend. I was on an antibiotic from an animal bite and the medication did a dance in my stomach every so often. My g/f Deb had went back to the room about the time you mentioned. I was hanging out for a while, till the medication reared it's ugly head and sent me to the room for a time. We did leave to go get pizza at the bottom of the hill but that was about it. That's when we found out it'd stormed. I think about 10:30 or so we did go out to lock the Monte up for the night and stood outside talking with other Monte owners for about an hour? Hope I never have to take that antibiotic again.

Believe me. It was nasty. And then in september just before we leave for the Rebel Run in Lima, OH for the weekend my cat Chelsea bites me on the hand. Something she's never done before. I cleaned the bite good and put neosporin on it. By the time we got to the Rebel Run my hand was pretty swollen. I almost could't shift my car. I called my doctor who wanted to put me back on the same antibiotic but I asked they prescribe something else. Since I was in Lima, I had to call my parents and ask they drive this other medication up to me the next day. I had to stay on this second medication longer cause infection set in. My doctor told me it's possible to loose your hand from a cat bite.

I'm not a "Cat" person either. We have six of them. ;D You can thank irresponsible people for this. They think they can bring their un-wanted pets out in the country and dump them off. "Oh they'll find plenty to eat out there. There's lots of mice they can eat." Most of these un-wanted pets do not last 24 hours. They end up under the tires of some (even more) uncaring SUV owner who couldn't care less they just killed something with their 4,000 lb SUV. Sorry but in my book NOTHING deserves to be ground in the pavement. Well except a few people I can think of. If you're adult enough to drive, be adult enough to get out of your warm vehicle and move the animal you just killed with your car/truck/suv/city block long vehicle and move the poor thing off to the side of the road. But that's how we ended up with 6 cats. It would be more but a couple were taken to the animal shelter and WE had to pay to drop them off even though these pets weren't our's. One died under our shrubs from starvation. Okay I'll get off my rant now. ;D

LOL! Joe, Yeah thats the part about learing how to paint!
Doug, this door is awesome!
RJ, Jim is a member, he's just been busy. Matt's Passenger door was rotted when he got the car, the driver's doos wasn't in that bad of shape, but he clipped the mirror on the garage door frame and it pushed the door in. well, now we have 2 doors and he'll be getting them on in the next week or so.

my cat Chelsea bites me on the hand. Something she's never done before. They will bite right down to the bone, too. Cat bites do get nasty. Mine did a nice job on my finger a while back. Thats when I found out she was afraid of the fireplace. She lays in front of it now. And, that door looks like its in real good shape. How about the inside edge? Is it just as clean?

Keith the inside is just as clean, the front and rear lip have had the paint scrapped off and soem surface rust has started, and the rear lower corner has a spot of surface rust about the size of a a thumbprint. thats it! You just can't find a nicer door anymore. I wish I would have been able to get the matching pasenger door, but another NY'er grabbed that.

According to my doctor people don't realize you can loose your hand from a cat bite. All that cleaning themselves leaves their mouths full of germs. Nice score on the door, Dave. Here in Ohio finding decent doors can be somewhat of a treasure hunt. And with Mike so close to my area he generally has most salvage yards holding any Monte parts for him.

Finding decent doors here is a treasure hunt also! We have been looking for over a year now.
I wish, I could get a yard on retainer to hold Montes for me, LOL!

I've went to salvage yards and tried to buy parts from a Monte they had. "NOPE! We're holding it for the guy that buys all of the parts off those cars."
They have to mean Mike.
