AWESOME news, I'd say, then. I can imagine she'd feel wiped out after PT. That can be very grueling and tiresome.... Need prayers again folks, This time for my sister. She is going to have another pacemaker installed next Wednesday, but with 1 hitch. When she had her first one done, there was a lead left in her partially attached. The Doctor seems to think it can be removed without too much damage, but again it's getting risky.

Yikes. Where is her pacemaker inplanted? Mine ... originally ... was implanted in my stomach area. Then, when the pacemaker had to be replaced, the new one was installed in my left shoulder bone area. Thoughts/prayers en route..... Cort, the original one was mounted in her shoulder area and it was always uncomfortable for her when she moved her arm. Not sure where they put it this time, but she says it's not bothering here.
they did manage to remove all three leads and start fresh, And I guess this new pacemaker is MRI compatable and she doesn't have to bolt out of the room when the Microwave is on. She's feeling better in 1 week than she did after a month after the first one. So I guess things went well.

You are welcome, and I'm glad things went well! Good that she is feeling better, too! I wonder if they put it in her stomach area. Not sure where else they would put it...LOL!
