What have I done on the Montes this year? Not much, but a bit. I got the red 74 registered and brakes done, and it's sitting on jack stands for its time in the sun. Meanwhile I've fixed up some of the problems with the white 73, namely the windshield wiper motor so I can drive the car in the rain now. I bypassed the heater core so it doesn't leak fluid into the car anymore. I cleaned off and painted the frame rails and inner rear wheel wells black so the white overspray doesn't bug the hell out of me anymore. I tightened up all the bolts on the front suspension so now it doesn't feel loose anymore. But if you're following my thread, you'll notice I'm in the middle of a rear end upgrade as well, and hope to have that sorted out by driving season. I'm also planning to upgrade to new Spohn lower and upper control arms: scandc.com/spohn_delsphere.htm And I want to finally get the blue Honeymoon wagon registered and back on the road before summer. |

well I did get my 4th gen so yeah this year (well actually last year) was a success!!!! This year I have some big dreams for the SS, so we shall see. As for the '01, It's just a matter of trying to keep it clean (no comment Dave)

Mike, You did get a lot done and thats what matters! I can't wait to see the pics of the Montes [and maybe the new Van] cruising in the land of my ancestors this coming summer

Dave, in fact I still have lots of pics of my Montes' activities this past summer which I haven't uploaded yet, but of course there'll be more as soon as this d**n snow melts! As for the van, I can't say when it'll be over here but for sure there'll be tons of pics of it too.

...there'll be more as soon as this d**n snow melts! I hear ya there.
