I got it the other day, Actually a nice piece! The body is die cast, nice decals and comes with the body stand and even a car cover!
RJ, Better grab one of Ebay, They are starting to disappear from there too, Plus Doug found a guy who sells the LS nose piece, rear bumper with tail lights, bench seat and grill to convert the SS modles to a LS.

Will these pieces fit the SS notchback model kit? I've for a couple of them. If these will fit the SS model kit I could purchase them and convert an SS to LS just like my car. and bench seatWell, except my car came with busket seats & console.

Yeap that's the one! Hey Doug, How is that 80 Monte model coming? okay kinda at a stand still now til I decide what color combo to go with ,, heres a few shots did engine in stock blue with black valve covers and aluminum intake and exhaust manifolds, still need to paint the exhaust on the chassis. not happy with how the crossover pipe fits. happy with the ss wheels on it though

Well, You have gotten farther than I have, LOL! I have the Chassis painted, the motor assembled and painted. Haven't even gotten to the cross over issue yet. I decided to build it like as a lowrider. I have been watching that "Livin the lowlife" Show on speed lately and decided it was the way to go. But I'm also stuck on a color choice. I'm thinking a nice Dark Mettalic Green with a gray interior. Or maybe a brown with a tan interior.

LOL! I figured out why the issue with the crossover! What a crappy model! They have a 78 and newer "over" the plugs manifold on the driver's side and a 77 and older "under" the plugs manifold on the other.
Oh and don't forget I have a set of Chrome Valve covers and a chrome air cleaner for you!
