What a let down this year! It was like kids at play. Not a really good race at all. And then to have it rained out leaving a Ford to win it!

sundays race was a lot better, too bad 3 of the 4 cautions were for rain. As well as seeing the same Ford win again. Where are thse snipers when you need them?

And then to have it rained out Yeah, I didn't quite understand this. I mean, aren't other races completed on a Monday sometimes??? *shrugs* Cort | 35swm | "Mr Monte Carlo"."Mr Road Trip" | pig valve.pacemaker ...W Grill meal = 02/28/09WRMNshowcase.legos.HO.models.MCs.RTs.CHD = www.chevyasylum.com/cort"Push the pedal down watch the world around fly by us" ... Cort according to Bill France Jr. and NASCAR rules, if the race crosses the 1/2 way mark, it's over. If the race is called before they start or before the halfway lap, they will start or finish it the next day, Actually I have seen the races delayed until Wednesday before.

Unless its one of the road courses, they will run in the rain with a wet tire. Of course that only goes so far, too. Too much rain and they will still call it. Hasn't happened, yet. I'd like to see NASCAR run Watkins Glen in the wet.

I know its a Daytona thread, but at least these r both on the East Coast.
Since u have road course ringers at the road courses anyway, I'd have to say they would have the advantage in the rain along with any former CART Drivers and Scott Speed. It would be nice to see a more competitve race since HP wouldn't win and talent would be key. For all we know Jimmie Johnson and all the other top name drivers could spin out and tear up their cars and Morgan Sheperd could win.
OK, that might be partially accurate.

You have a great point, I like Juan Pablo on the road courses, Some of these other drivers should take hints.
Also, Does the truck series ever run road corses?

Not any more. They used to run a few of them. The Glen being one of 'em. They stopped doing it to keep cost down.
I'll still think they should have more variety in the chase.
AND, since i am opinionated, I agree with *cough, choke* Tony Stewart and the IROC Series should run a road course, super speedway, short track and a dirt track.

IROC will be resurrected once they find a sponsor. Not gonna happen this year, though.
