Located right in the middle of Indiana. Only have to deal with traffic 4 times a year. Brickyard, 500, Nationals, and SuperBikes. That is until F1 comes back, IF they do.

Okay, heavy traffic. It's not like Chicago rush hour. Oh yeah, I had an 82 SC and a 78 as well. 1978 was my first Monte. Carmine with Carmine/White Interior, floor shift and 305. Still want another 78 so bad I can taste it.

Intact? Nope. Its on rollers right now, no antifreeze, 2 year old gas, brackets not mounted to the engine, hole in the firewall for clutch, brakes need bled. Thats just the stuff to get it back on the road.

I HAVE to. It drives me nuts not driving it. There's some other details to take care of, but can't remember them all right now.
Like changing the headlamos out for clear ones using 9007 bulbs, elec fan,...

It finally ran again. I just got it running just so that I could get some motivation. The 2 year old gas isnt helping, but I'm gonna try to burn it through. I did drive it up and down the street today. I dont think the neighbors liked it, either. The clutch pedal is in and permanently mounted. Played with the clutch master and had it all lined up. So hoping to start making real progress. Bad part is I only have weekends to work on it. But, it ran. I forgot how low it was since its been in the air for the better part of 2 years.

Motivate? Yes. If it ran better it would have been more motivation.
BMV was closed today. Gotta get there tomorrow. Then work, meeting, bed early and drive to Columbus Ohio for another meeting then back home. Hopefully drive the gas out of it Wednesday night.

Woo Hoo! I can't wait to see some Daylight pics!!!! Well, since Keith is dragging out the waiting, how about a daylight shot of the Major Pain? He might be a bit rough, but seeing him outside does my mind a great deal of good. In a while, Chet.

Drove it for a few weeks and I have it on stands again. Got the serp setup on and just got to take it apart to reseal the timing cover. A few bolts here and there in the eves and I will eventually get it done.
Things to do: 1.Change oil pump and pan 2.install new headers 3.rebuild 5 speed and install it with the new crossmember 4.install the dual exhaust with x pipe 5.seriously thinking about coil overs. Ride height and suspension is horrible right now. No compression left. I had to cut bump stops to have some travel. Killing the ball joints. 6.electric fans and wiring 7.relays and wiring for headlights 8.gauges 9.center console 10.rear disc brakes need installed 11. chassis bracing in rear 12.driveshaft loop 13.still want that 2" cowl hood
