Dave,
It looks like it may be a while. What with the new baby (Pace car)and then all those other Chevies someone just has to own.
My preference is for a steel hood. But a fiberglass is okay as long as it's one with the finished underside.

Say Dave. The bra you have on the '01 Monte. Would you mind telling me who made it and how well you like it?

My wife bought it from Summit for me for Father's day, It's a Wolf, I love the way the hood cover looks and that fits great! The rest of the cover fits well, except the area around the grille isn't shaped right, the slats go upward in the middle instead of straight across. Other than that, I love it. Made 2 road trips with it on, no damage or scratches. So I'd say it was worth it!

Have you ever seen mirror covers? We were at a show back in august. An Intimidator SS showed up with these mirror covers on it. My girlfriend & I both liked them a lot. Back in october just by chance one day I found mirror covers on the net. I did al little research and found out a company called: Calgen makes them. There's a web site called: AutoAnything that had the mirror covers for $39 and free shipping. I called them about a week ago and ordered a set of the mirror covers for the '03 Pace car. They sold me the covers for $32 shipped cause that particular day they were having an internet sale. The covers arrived today. I was going to try them on my '06 LTZ to see how they fit and how well I actualy like them? Cause I intend to give the covers to my girlfriend for Christmas. But I saw the bra on your Monte and wondered how well you liked it? Cause I just make break down and buy one. Thanks. ;D

it's worth the money, it saves the front end! And I saw the mirror covers, not sure how much I like them myself. I only leave the bra on for road trips, the hood section, I leave on most of the summer.

Hey Dave! It looks like a used car lot. Are you sure there aren't any ordinances against that? By the way, what's your lowest price on that old white beater?! LOL
