Combining Radio and TV this time ... what songs do you associate with what shows/movies ... and vice versa? In other words, what songs do you hear that "take you back" to a TV show or movie? And, what TV shows or movies remind you of what songs? A FEW examples ... I have MANY more: Billy Vera's "At This Moment" reminds me of an episode of "Family Ties" ... the one where Alex's college girlfriend (Michael J Fox's real-life wife) left the show. The song was played as they danced together for the last time. "Cold Case" uses music throughout each episode and usually plays one complete song at the end as they are arresting the suspect(s), so that show reminds me of several songs. Vice versa, when I hear some songs now, I think of the episode in which they were used. "Fame" reminds me of the TV show by the same name. "Good Ol Boys" reminds me of Dukes of Hazzard. The songs "Real Gone" and "Life Is A Highway" remind me of the movie "Cars". Evanescence's "My Immortal" and "Bring Me To Life" remind me of the movie "DareDevil". Heck ... some TV show themes are just cool in their own right.... I could spend days listing all of my favorites ... he heh. Life is a highway and the Movie Cars is a given. And the funny thing is I always loved that song [Tom Cochrans's original version anyways]
But sadly, I never really associated songs with movies or TV shows for some reason

I'll add "Gimme Some Lovin'" with Days of Thunder, and "Gimme All Your Lovin'" with the first Tim Allen Santa Clause movie.

Ohh, I almost forgot, hearing either "The Dance" or "Freebird" takes me back to one of the darkest days in racing history-- Feb 18, 2001. Not really a movie or TV show, but either one will get me to stop whatever I'm doing and listen.
In a while, Chet.

Wow....cool and powerful video, Chet. Now I understand why. Too bad the video didn't include any pics/shots of his Monte Carlo: www.chevyasylum.com/cort/collection/DSC07618r8_jpg.htmlCort | 35swm | "Mr Monte Carlo"."Mr Road Trip" | pig valve.pacemaker ...RT 66 = Sept 5-16, '09WRMNshowcase.legos.HO.models.MCs.RTs.CHD = www.chevyasylum.com/cort"Death tore the pages all away" ...
