Tonights race was the best race of the season! And The old Man, Mark Martin took it from the pole to the finish line! Led the most laps to boot. And in honor of the late Alan Kulwiki, He did the Polish Victory lap!
Tony Stewart takes second with Kurt Busch in third.

So whats the highlights of the races? Did Logano wreck it again? How many cars on lead lap at the end? Hopefully more than 10-15. I like to see a race with 30 cars still on lead lap (not talking Daytona and Tall. either).

Logano finished from what I saw, 2 laps down, but he held on.
I was really just paying attention to the top 5 cars all night: Martin, Stewart, Kurt Busch, Johnson and Biffle. So I really don't know who finished where or on what lap
Actually, the first lap was funny, when Kyle Busch tried to put a move on Martin, Mark said no way and blocked him, He slammed on the binders and it smoked like crazy! he lost 5 spots in 2 seconds, LOL! Then on the last caution, Klye tried to beat Martin and Johnson off pit row, Not only did Martin win the race of pit row, Kyles crew left a lugnut off and he had to return with 8 laps to go. I love it when things go bad for the Busch brothers LOL! And Gordon ran out of luck too, He ended up 2 laps down after the first 40 laps with lug nut issues also, and never got caught up.
Overall the race was one of the best, Not alot of crashes, I think there was only 5 cautions , so it was really them racing all night, But there were a lot of position changes in the pits.

Mid week Speed Channel or on the net. I gotta at least see highlights. Nevermind, I'll spend the time getting my car ready. I'll b n the garage this weekend after mulching and maybe a quick trip to Louisville. Gotta friend down there that misses a Chinese Restaurant we have up here. LOL. It should be OK on a 2 hour trip in an insulated bag I hope.

...and maybe a quick trip to Louisville. Man ... I need a quick road trip right about now. I sorta had one last weekend, but that was only to Freeport IL (2 hours away) ... not nearly LONG enough of a drive . Course, soon I'll have the older 4 MCs out ... and will have a lot of driving time...just not road trips.... Dave, didnt make it. He ended up getting busy, I ended up working at another location for someone else so they could have a day off.
We were talking about creepy, right? A grown man shouldn't cry because someone helped him out, must be on verge of a breakdown.
Talladega weekend, Waltrip has a chance this this weekend. 4 times a year where he can perform well. Yes, I said "can", not "will". Maybe Logano will wipe out half the field and Waltrip will have a great finish before his bad luck rears its ugly head.

Yes, Waltrip does have a shot today, he does better at super speedways. And Logano did pretty good yesterday in the Nationwide race, he took 3rd.
