don't know if you remeber me i joind up befor the site whent away the last time. i no longer have my monte though  but it realy wasn't wourth saving. i still have my grand prix (used to be my younger brothers he had it for a week and well never got his license so i took it) hope to re-meet every one and meet some of the new guys ;D |

ya the frame was toast so not realy worth fixing.

Welcome back. Nothing wrong with the W-Bodies. I know at least 3 members here have 1. I've got a 96 Cutlass that has that platform.
Not sure if u knew this, but there r replacement frame pieces for G-Bodies. Body may not have been worth it, I don't know. Hopefully it got parted out to others who needed items before it went to scrap. Even it didn't, tell us it did.

AVIS rental, huh? How was the interior? How'd it run? I ask because I can't imagine the rental companies using an S/C car like that.
U know how it is, he'll get served by Johny Law for having an Auto Salvage Yard.
But if they r in a barn that would be different and hes got trees we could cut as well to make the lumber. And since its all Daves idea, I dont get into trouble.

all useable parts where sold before the car was scrapped. all that was good body wise was the pass. fender and hood. the interior was bad looked good but it had the sent of rat pee thought i could not get out no one wanted the interior parts so it got crushed.i removed all the chrome on the car and sold that sepritly sold the sway bars and plastic fender wells. other then that nothing really worth it. the body was rough had no floors at all and no trunk. the Grand Prix was N/A when i got it i added the SC myself ;D the interior was smoke free and the engine had 30k on it (was a GM Good Wrench replacement) the tranny died at 140k though so i made it fast at this point  |

N/A swapped to S/C, good going. Not sure I'd want to take on that job on that body style of vehicle. I don't dig all the wiring nowadays.
