Michael Waltrip is OUT. He will run the Daytona 500 and a handful of other races in the #55 NAPA car, but is being replaced by Martin Truex Jr. in the #56 NAPA car.
I hope this works out. I'd hate to see Truex's career follow the path of Mayfield's.

I hope it works out. I haven't heard how Theresa Earnhardt is handling this. Its her driver he is taking and Mikey and Theresa became good friends. Something has got to be up.

I'm thinking DEI is going to fold soon, so she's making sure her employees have jobs.

Crossed my mind, too. DEI cant fold. They still have major sponsorships and had a driver or 2. Seems like noone wants to be anywhere near them now. Jr. should have stuck around to build the company and shared it with the other kids and Mom. He could of had a spectacular career. Now he's being compared to Johnson and Gordon since he has the same equipment and just not producing results.
