Well, it's almost time to put the car away again, this summer had it's high points, but mostly it was a let down.
Went to a few really good car shows, a few lame ones too, very few cruises, but most of all, really didn't get to do much with the car this year.
My highlights were going to the Sea Pirate show in NJ and The Summit Racing Show in Ohio.
What were yours?

umm a half-hearted attempt at getting the car running. followed by the decision to buy a crate motor... expensive yes, but if i'm redoing everything else then why not. it's a pitiful sight right now, sitting in a storage unit next to my friend's project car [also not running] with the trans not bolted right, won't go into park and the keys are stuck in the ignition. heh, story of my life.
fall/winter should be a bit more promising for me.

Keith, sorry to hear that, Hopefully next year will be better.
Jen, A crate Motor is a great idea, considering the cost of machine work, parts, the time to put it al together, Your much better off. Good luck!

i got nothing done this summer except some plans started drawing up for my 80SC....diesel swap!!. other than that....nothing really. new mud tires on my beast, but no mud to play in...wtf man.

Highlights? Driving the MCs, attending the MC Nationals, and the Route 66 trip were pretty much it, I think........... Too hard to believe it is fall already ... ugh. ehh it was ok. the transmission was the let down in the GP and the fact i could not find a job in the un-emolyment capital did not help eather  |
