We met up with our friend up Jim and his friend Chuck at the yard



redneck engineering at it's best, and this was out in the parking lot!


Once in the yard the team heads to the farthest point to start the investigation

this pile of scrap was huge!




The truck section proved to be a good source for parts and fun

where is that yard? it looks familiar... like one i went to with my brother last summer.

EZ pull and Save it's called. Off of Summer Valley road. Not exactly sure the town, But the way we went was like driving into the bowels of hell! the last 10 miles were all down hill! 7-9% grade! the closest town I remember was Tamaque. 65 MPH until you hit the town limits, then it 30! The GPS said 14 miles but 35 minutes away, we were like huh? Then we came into the town and found out why

weird! i think it's the same place... we were visiting family in tamaqua. what really tipped me off was the huge variety of le cars... my future sister-in-law and i were joking about how we could maybe make one good le car out of the six or so we had seen there, lol.
we are actually looking around that area for a house right now. planning to move late in the summer.

New Ringgold PA, I just looked it up on the GPS.

And if your moving there, We will have to meet up in the fall when we head back for another weekend. Not sure when, but probably in November

Love the narrative ... not so much SOME of the cars ... the original Monte Carlos and that Caprice, of course ... along with the Cutlasses. The newer stuff ... bah ... good riddance ... lol
