Sooo here's my Camaro thread. Just cause the Monte is on hold until after the move. And I'm bored, and it gives me a reason to post.
02 Camaro Z28. 5.7 LS1. T-tops, black leather.
Came with 18" Z06 wheels... which I would like to change, and I am open to suggestions guys. Seriously, I'm being a girl about it...indecisive! LOL.
Also already had the SLP air box installed, complete with K&N filter.. now I need to get the cold air intake to go along with it.
And one of my favorite things is the Flowmaster exhaust. And why not, it sounds good, and someone else paid for it! I'm a bit bummed they didn't put headers on the car, but eventually I'll get around to that.
Short term I'm really only worried about 1) making sure everything is good as far as maintenance 2) getting the body work done and 3) wheels. The other stuff can wait until after the Monte is running.
yes i painted the bowtie pink
installed 93-97 tail lights. mine were damaged. and i like these because the lines flow better with the hatch.
aftermarket cd player since the factory monsoon kept overheating... also recolored the 35th anniversary badge in silver & pink
new shift knob.. i've been meaning to find out if the adapter kit they make for f-bodies would work on a g body too cause they had a sweet ss shift knob too.
and that's about it for now, i'm making plans for paint in a few weeks. still arguing with myself if i should just re-paint what's needed or paint the whole car black (which i want to do eventually anyway...) i'm open to opinions on this.. i'd only have to pay $1500 max to do the whole car. or about $600-$700 for what needs to be done (front bumper and whole driver's side).
here's the before.. can't wait til it's fixed. only the door & quarter have damage, but the fender has small cracks in the paint and the front bumper has been repainted before and it's not good enough for me. my job has ruined cars for me in the sense that i am basically paid to look for cosmetic defects, so they jump right out at me on my own car.
