Did that really happen? Shut it off to save fuel when they know they had plenty. Throw away the race?
Gordon punting people all day long? And no rough driving or warnings from NASCAR?
What a strange weekend.

yeah that happened! I thought he stalled going up hill during the caution, But then heard he shut it off. I didn't think it was a problem during cautions, But apparently Chad Knaus had issues. Now I really hope they get busted cheating or JJ gets sent to the back from a crash!
Gordon was really aggresive wasn't he? And now they are allowed to police themselves, this ought to be good.
I didn't get to see the whole race, But I caugth the last 15 laps, I really like that track!! I wish I had a bigger basement so I could build the slot car track to match

Police themselves, huh? This should be good. Watkins glen is better cuz there isnt a drag strip in the middle. But I do like them both. Sports car runs the drag strip portion at Sears Point where as NASCAR doesnt. Not sure why, but that how it is.

Yeah, thats probably why thee has been so many fights between drivers this year.
I'm 3 hours away from the Glen and have never been there. I like watching the races there, but sometimes it gets confusing as to where on the track they are.
I was watching the Aussie SuperV8's the other week, now those guys race! and they have some sweet looking cars too! I really need to get my brother in law to take me ther when he goes home next year. I know if I said I want to go to a race, he'd be LET'S GO!!!!! LOL! He's bigger than me into racing!

Aussie V8s are crazy. Short track beating and banging on a road or street course. Its better than DTM.
Is it possible to be a bigger fan of racing?
How about the little boats with the navigator guy that fly in a small tight course. Bout 2-3 ft deep of water? Another Aussie sport.

YEAH!!! I love watching them, their friggen nuts!!!
Got to remember, He's 5 years older than me and has worked on pit crews for a featherlite team. So yeah He loves racing, Hell, he calls me and says "Did you see that??" when something cool happens, LOL!
Oh yeah, those guys are nuts too! It's like a mini road course with water and they flip quite a bit too. What about the Water bog Buggys? They are crazy too!

I think it comes down to just racing. I dont care much for open water racing or planes, but just about antything else with an engine and wheels is good. SuperBikes and LeMans tyle racing r still my favorites though. Man, I'd love to do that. They wouldn't even have to pay me.
