yup looking at a 73 chevelle car is in the west coast woundering what to look for?
from the pictures the car looks good had a vinyl top and the guy said it has rust rear window is currently out of the car and the rust does not look that bad compaired to 80% of the cars hear in michigan.
i figure i could weld it up in a week end and get a coat a paint on it and beater drive it till spring
guy wants $800
has a 12 bolt with 3.08 turbo 400 and a 350 or 383 guy doesn't rember which car was built in 95 has center lines and 6 pin lift off 3" cowl hood and a black monte bench interior

Well, the 73 is an A Body like the first and second Gen Montes. It does look pretty solid, But those holes where the top used to be kind of scare me, Lots of patching and filler work will be needed. For $800., I'd buy it, if it's that bad drive it for a bit then sell or part it out. But if it's solid, fix it and drive it for a while. Just My 2 cents

Is that Remy-Z's car in Washington? I can't say much about the car because I haven't seen it in person but from what he said and pictures he showed, the roof area is completely rotted out in a lot of places, so if you're up to that kind of challenge, I say go for it! I'm not good at welding so for me, that kind of work is a deal-breaker on a car and I'd prefer to find something nice and rust-free from the desert. I know Remy-Z from bangshift.com where I was robbed blind by a member there who was restoring a van for me. www.bangshift.com/forum/index.php?topic=15606.240
