When I was a kid, the Christmas Eve service lasted at LEAST 3 hours. Today, that same service takes about a half hour. When I was a kid, the trip from Elgin IL to Batavia IL to visit my grandparents took at LEAST 2 hours. Today, that same drive takes about 45 minutes. When I was a kid, Mom and Dad's 1976 Monte Carlo was absolutely HUGE ... like a cruise ship. Today, my '76 Monte Carlo is a heck of a lot smaller than that, though some might still call it a boat.... When I was a kid, the stairs leading up to the front door of a relative's home in western PA had at least 25 steps. Today, that same staircase has only 5 steps. What perspectives do you have from your experiences? Why is it that my memory is so much foggier than everyone elses?
I just can't really remember those kinds of things.
I do remember jumping off of houses and it not hurting, have u tried that recently? Thought I broke every bone in my body.

When I was a kid, used cars were a few hundred bucks, Today there a few thousand! LOL! And, just think of the home prices. I think Mom and Dad paid for their house back in the mid-1970s about the same amount you could by a luxury automobile today..... Hey now, we have a Daewoo Aveo at work. Tiny little P.O.S. Cort has seen it, though. It'll smoke the right front tire in the rain. No traction and it'll just spin till u get it smokin. Not that I would ever do that.
Rough in the snow because they r so light, too. Maybe a lifted 4WD Aveo would do better.

Ahhhh, I saw that pic of you before on Cort's site there Keith, and I was wondering.... what were you thinking.... now that I know it's the work car..., well, I still have respect for you..... LOL
Just kidding man.
In the early to mid-80's there was a guy in the area that put an El Camino on a K-5 Blazer chassis, lifted and all. It was awesome looking..... until he rolled it on a corner. He spent about 2 weeks in the hospital while they set his broken bones and rested his ribs a bit. A few months later he built another one. About 6-months after he was done with that one, he rolled it. Another stay in the hospital. A few months later, he built another one. This time he learned something though.... smaller tires and a shorter lift.... He never rolled that one !
