Sorry about my disappearance for the last 3 weeks.
4 weeks ago I took a hit to the jaw with a prybar while installing a ball joint, It managed to loosen the cap on my root canal. A week goes by and it really started to hurt, after a wasted trip to the emergency room, it became infected and swollen to the point that I couldn't swallow or talk. I went to Immediate care and was given some antibiotics and pain killers. The problem with the pain killers was it really messed me up and I couldn't even read the computer screen. A trip to the dentist made things even worse, I was told the infection was so bad that they couldn't even touch it without a chance of my death. This past Thursday, I went under and they pulled the root canal and another cracked tooth. I'm doing much better, but still feeling the effects of the pain killers.
I'd like to say thanks to my "brother" Keith! He helped me out through the weeks. Even if it was only daily texts, it kept me in good spirits while in pain. Thanks Bro!!

Oh, no! They put Dave to sleep.
And I didnt realize it was because u hit yourself. Doh! After hitting my head several times too many and way too hard, I don't remember all the dumb things I've done while working on a car.
Glad to hear u r doing better, glad they didn't kill u also. And they were not joking. Dad had an infection and they wouldn't do heart surgery until his blood work came back clean.
Now back to your life that you call "normal". But thats a whole different thread. Maybe a book. But I don't think any of us are normal by other peoples standards. We like cars over 20 years old.

Yeah, Be carefull with what you hit yourself with. And trust me, I have knocked myself unconcious a few times working on cars.
yeah back to normal! Working on cars, watching racing on TV, hoping the weather changes soon to get the SS's out and rocking! Its what everyone thinks is normal does right??

Absolutely.
And I've never been knocked out. Seen stars, couldn't stand, fallen over, but never knocked out.
Weather change is coming, we had a warm week finished off with rain today to clear away the salt on the roads. Come on Summer!
