Looks like someone's Monte Model went the wrong way from the start and then they made it more like a barn job. Cool in one aspect, I really like the For Sale sign, But it's too big for my track

I think you also need to share some new pics with us ... of the damages, of course  . Cort, You wanted Carnage and today We got Carnage! Matt ran the Daytona Charger and I raced my Superbird, we had the camaro and the SRT Charger set as automomical. Matt runs into the back of the SRT and flips both cars, I'm too close to stop and crash into them and push Matt against the rails. Then the Camaro slammed into me. Parts flying everywhere! This looked like something you would see on the 6 o'clock news!      |

LOL! Most of it was repairable, the Mirrors will never fit again and the Srt's rear wing is destroyed, oh well, I'm sure we'll wreck it again
Yeah, Warm weather is coming and I need to get my R/C Pro Mod Monte back in shape!

Well, I just blew up my Superbird! Ripped the wire right out of the contact. This weekend I'll have to bring my soldering iron home and try to repair it. Matt's Christmas present finally arrived yesterday. I bought him the 2010 Nissan GT-R GT500.  This thing is sick fast on our track! Now I need to buy a new car for myself to keep up with him. I'm thinking either the Compuware Corvette,  the Audi R8  Or the Peugeot 908  |

Cort, this is one expensive hobby! I have well over a grand invested in it, but well worth the fun Matt and I have during the winter. Hopefully someday you can come and race with us, I'll save the 2007 Charger for you. And I'm sure by then, I'll have all the track lighting up and working plus more scenery to crash into, LOL!

Yes, I already have some parts of the track lit up, it's fun to run in the dark with the car's lights on, I still need more lighting on the track itself and I want to have pit row lit up more as well as all the pit garages.
And No you have to leave the car here! But it's yours to use while your in town, LOL!

The track isn't going anywhere anytime soon, LOL! Infact, witht he crappy weather we had this weekend, Matt and I made about 100 laps while watching part of the Grand Am Race yesterday. Hopefully, by the time you get to come by, I'll have a lot more done and functioning.

I will, I kind of let it slide as off late, a little bit of racing against Matt here and there, But mostly have been working too much and then when I'm home, I have a lot of stuff to do. tomorrow is the first day of June and the 86 has only leftt he garage 1 time and that was for a really short time.

Actually, I think they have more, LOL! I had to replace the tires on the Superbird and the 2 Chargers already.
Tomorrow, I'll be looking for cool ideas that I can duplicate on the track. I already have a few ideas, but thats going to cost me some serious cash in the fall, LOL!

Since I haven't updated this thread in a long time, and since the Daytona 500 was pretty much done till tomorrow, I got some race time on the race track. Set up my Corvette GT as a ghost car and ran the Suntrust DP. Matt ran his Brumos Porche with the Nissan GT as a ghost car. It's a lot of funhaving to avoid wrecking a car that you have no idea where it's going to be at times. 4 cars running is hard to keep track of. Took some pics of the upgrades we did since the 1st of the year. Enjoy! The field coming to the starting line  Pit road with the Ferrari team in for repairs  The Memorial park got some lights and park benches  Leaving turn 1  The begining of the overpass and the infield with the Corvette team  The downside of the overpass with the new VIP tower in the backround  Different angle of the backside and the parking lot  Close up of the Esses  Overhead view of the new extention. Added about 3.5 feet to the legnth of the table and almost 8 feet of track. Plus a nice straight away for passing.  Then the entrance to pit row with the wrecker and the fuel truck.  A little infield set up  Extended the pond a bit as well, added a small waterfall.  And finally, The new parking lot  |

Cort, nobody has made a Charger other than some versions of the 2006 SRT that I have and the 69 that was released last year, The General Lee is due sometime this year. Maybe after a few years someone will come out with one and I'll grab it.
As for a web cam, That's going to be pretty pricey. I have to finish a lot of scenery 1st. If you notice I don't have any grandstands yet, at $37 a piece and I have places reserved for 5 of them, it's going to cost me some $$$. Plus I keep wanting to buy new cars. They go for $40 to $100 each and then some I still need to buy the digital chip for at $27 each. I just installed 3 new lights for $20, I need 8 more to get lights all around the track for night racing. Maybe by the time your in town I'll have a lot more done, but I'm running out of cash and Spring is coming so I need to get the Montes ready for show season!

LOL! Dave Dave Dave. For general viewers, you could set it up as a "pay to view" type deal. But, for friends (like me, d'oh) it'd be free..... Just sayin' . I expect you to pick up the General Lee when it is available. Again, just sayin'. Finally ... I think you have a lot of great scenery already. I just hope I can actually get to see you sometime this year. Right now, it isn't looking good. Cort, just watching isn't as much fun as racing. Hoping you can make it, I just found out there is a cool Train and Toy show at the Buffalo Central Terminal that day you plan on being here, That could be a great day since your a history buff and a Toy collector.
And The General Lee will be one of those "if I get it, OK" purchases. There are a lot of other cars I'd rather buy first.
