LOL! Probably not, he was plagued by classroom lessons again this week, and I guess the Junior class meatheads [not the word my son used] did some damage to the one fender, so it had to be repaired again, and the rocker panel is giving him some trouble. So It may be a week or two.

Sorry to hear some jealous morons are giving your son a hard time .
I know when I was in hs back in the stone ages there were jerks like this in the auto shop class. One shoved potatoes up the tail pipes of another guy's Camaro. The owner had the heads off doing a valve job on them. The engine wouldn't fire once it was back together cause there was no place for the pressure of turning the engine over to go to. They got it fire and all but blew up the mufflers from back pressure.
The car owner wasn't happy.
And I know there were always complaints of theft in auto shop.

RJ, so far nothing was stolen from the car and thats cool with me, the dent may have been caused by something being thrown around, hard to say, Matt said it didn't look like it was done on purpose. I still need to go and talk to his teacher and find out why that class is so out of control.
Potatoes in the tailpipe! That is old school! And yeah, I can understand the owners position. When I was in college, I was doing a valve cover gaskets on a 80's cadillac, I pulled the ignition wires of and labeled them accordingly, obviously I didn't have the firing order memorized, Well while I was at the parts washer cleaning the valve covers, a few idiots decided to swap my labels. when I cranked it, it back fired and lit the hood insulation on fire! I was going nuts trying to figure out where I went wrong. Later after figuring it out, one of the other students told me what happened. I was relieved to find out I didn't do anything wrong. But I really wanted to get even, too bad I never did.

Dave, sometimes allowing a person to think you're coming after them can be more of a payback then actually doing so.
They tend to stew wondering how & when you plan your revenge? They look over their shoulder constantly expecting you to be standing there with whatever justice you planned for them.
The longer it doesn't happen, the more nervous they get.
Maybe what you did do, got to them more then if you say poured laxative in their pop can?

LOL! Cort you need to stay healthy!
Well, Matt went thru the competition yesterday, He said he did well in the actual repair portion, made it all the way to the paint, Some guys got as far as primer in the time allowed. But he bombed the written test part. Matt is dislexic, so this was no surprise to me. But he gave it his best and that's all that matters.

Im a few days late, but yeah, let him know that we all said "Congratulations". He's put a lot of work into this and looking good, he deserves to be acknowledged.
I still can't wait to see the primered shots and the paint scheme.

Looks pretty good so far. Its a shame after so much work that the 1/4 windows were left in and the seatbelt release and door strikers are still there. Other than that they stripped it down good. Loads of work done.
Ask him if they used a flex agent in the primer for the nose and nose extensions. I hope he says yes.
Let him know we all said "Good Luck" in Syracuse.
